I struggle with that same challenge like EVERY OTHER WEEKEND! My husbands family is always having parties that we bring dessert to. I don't think it's lame to serve fruit. In fact, I would be glad if I went to dinner and they had fruit for dessert! But I'll be honest, if it were me, I'd probably have regular dessert, but something I don't LOVE. Like ice cream. I don't love ice cream. I can have 1/8 th of a cup, and not care to eat any more. If you have any desserts like that for you, that is what I would do :)

Seriously! I know. I have had to stop baking bread and just the other day decided that if someone calls and needs cookies or something baked for something at church or school I will go buy them and bring them right to the event. Because I just can't handle having baked things in my home anymore. BUT here's the problem I'm having: we are having friends over for dinner this weekend and I feel like we need to have dessert. We aren't eating sugar because of the weight loss challenge...so do I serve fruit? Is that lame?

Sometimes I wonder why we focus so much on weight and inches and the scale. Sometimes I think weight loss and maintenance is just a hobby for me…something to occupy my time. Doesn’t that sound crazy? Because in the end, what does it really matter as long as you’re healthy, right? But I put so much energy into eating, thinking about eating, not eating, exercising, thinking about exercising etc etc. LOL I totally relate to you on the peanut butter, by the way. Good luck with whatever path you choose!
