Eating protein and carbs at every meal really is getting easier, tastier, and more satisfying! I am still 121 lbs! I don’t know if that is ever going to change. But my current measurement (remember, I only measure my hips), I’ve gone from 39 Inches, to 37.5. Pretty crazy!
Breakfast: sliced pear, egg white with mushrooms and black beans.
Snack: Smoothie with protein powder
Lunch: Leftover multi bean soup from yesterday (but I added chicken and crackers)
Snack: Protein bar at school.![]()
two Resees cups (Our Leprechaun put them in my kids shoes for St. Patrick’s day. Someone left a few on the counter, and I stole them!)
Being Wednesday: Wade made scrambled eggs for dinner.
Then for no reason I can figure out ( I was not hungry). I ate TWO granola bars. Back to back.

Great Amy. I can imaging your sense of accomplishment when you measure 1.5 inches less. Keep up the good work.
Losing those inches is really impressive! That way you know you are making progress even if the scale isn’t showing it. I personally think 121 pounds is great. Is it bad that the foods I am drooling over in your post are the Reese’s and the granola bars? LOL Although that breakfast does look dang good. I always liked full-sized Reese’s way better than tiny ones, something about the chocolate to peanut butter ratio. But people seem to go crazy over the miniatures, and I just don’t understand it. Too much chocolate for my tastes.
I got mine at our local Good Earth (natural food store). I’ve seen them at Whole Foods Market. But just recently I saw them in an unlikely place… and now I can’t remember for the life of me where it was! I’ll let you know if I remember.. It was like the regular grocery store, or maybe even Walmart??!!?
